A Week of Parisian Outfits

We just arrived in Paris a couple of weeks ago and were lucky enough to get sunshine & warm weather our first days here! It's been mid 50/60s, and I've been mixing and matching some capsule pieces on

repeat.

Of course, being in France calls for some stripes. There are so many fun new versions of the classic french boat shirt, and I am having fun exploring the shops and boutiques here to find fresh options for Spring.

Mango is a European store that is also in NYC and ships worldwide. They have a bunch of cute options for stripes.

This camel coat is also from them, and I've been wearing it on repeat. It is a great transition from heavy winter coat to trench. It's a classic staple that will be in my wardrobe for many years to come!

For a night on the town...

I wore this outfit on a date night with Nick to Musee D'Orsay and out to dinner at Le Grand Colbert.

It's chic and stylish, but also SO comfortable. I have these pants from Anthropologie in multiple colors and fabrics because I love the fit so much! These are the colette pants in leather (so soft on the inside).

On one of our warmest days, I felt comfortable and stylish all day in this classic blazer and jean combo.

These Sam Edelman boots are waterproof and super durable. I have had them for years and walked many miles in them. They go with just about every outfit in my capsule wardrobe.

The great thing about this belt is that it tightens without any holes/notches, so it can go to the exact size you need and can also be worn with dresses and skirts!

I recently found this crochet style top at Mango and fell in love with its shape and ruffle detailing. It's the perfect sweater to transition into the Spring months with.

Keeping it "understated-groovy" with these dark flare jeans from Madewell and clog style boots from J.crew.

This black long sleeve top from Madewell is the MVP of my wardrobe. It's thin enough to layer under anything and everything, and never stretches out because of the ribbed fabric.

And, because I'm embracing a few more French-inspired pieces, I found this cute silk scarf to pair with the outfit, and it really elevated the whole look!

That's all for now! Check back next week for more outfit inspiration and fresh new looks (using many of the same capsule wardrobe items).
